Tech companies expect good work from their employees and in return the company also gives them good rewards. Chinese tech company Tencent gifted 10,000 of its employees a Huawei Mate Xs phone. The price of this phone is about 16999 Yuan, which is approximately 1 lakh 83 thousand rupees. But the funny thing is, the employees of the Chinese company are now selling these phones online.

Chinese model Tencent has gone via many modifications lately and after that completely different departments of the corporate are working collectively. After this, the corporate has despatched Huawei’s foldable Mate Xs telephones to a lot of employees.

The Mate Xs is the second generation foldable 5G smartphone from Huawei. Similar to the Samsung Galaxy Fold, the Mate Xs unfolds into an 8-inch tablet. But unlike the Fold, the Xs folds outwards so that the foldable display is always exposed. Apart from the display folding outwards in the phone, Huawei’s Kirin 990 5G chipset has been given. This 8-inch device holds 8GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, powered by Android 10 with 4500 mAh.

Tencent gifted Huawei's foldable Mate Xs smartphone worth Rs 1.83 lakh to At least 10,000 selected employees from the company's Platform and Content Group (PCG) department were included on September 30. Not long after, listings for the phones started showing up online with descriptions like, “Company gift, completely new real product!”

The lucky PCG employees got the phone as a gift for the second anniversary of the department dedicated to creating content for Tencent’s social, video and news platforms. It may also serve as a gift for the National Day that occurred on Oct. 1, a holiday commemorating the People's Republic of China's founding

However, the staff did not need such expensive phones, but after getting such an expensive phone for free, instead of using the devices for their own, the Tencent employees decided to sell the gift on Chinese sites and charged them for double their prices. MyDrivers report mentioned that after this occasion, lots of Mate Xs have come for on-line sale.

In this gifted phone, Tencent variant label is also felt And because of that many people are also wanting to buy it. Usually the price goes down when reselling the phone. But you will be surprised to know that, this phone is priced at Rs 1.83 lakh But employees are selling it online for Rs 2.15 lakh. SCMP noted sellers priced the devices for at least 2.5 times more expensive than the original $2,500 model. Other sellers even priced them at over $3,000.   And people are also paying to buy these phones.
